The Karachi Development Authority, in collaboration with the Local Government & Housing Town Planning Department, Government of Sindh, invites bids for the design, finance, build, operate and transfer of the Karachi Port to Qayumabad Corridor Project. The project involves construction of a 16.5 km elevated, access-controlled, 4-lane expressway connecting Shahrah-e-Bhutto (Jam Sadiq Interchange) to Karachi Port Terminal (East Wharf) and South Asia Pakistan Terminal (SAPT) via a spur link. The scope includes elevated structures, embankments, interchanges, ramps, intelligent transport systems (ITS), tolling systems, traffic management during construction, and restoration works. The concession period is 27.5 years including 2.5 years construction and 25 years operation. Bidders must submit a single bid comprising technical and financial proposals via the Sindh PPRA e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (SPPRA EPADS). The bid submission deadline is 9th February 2026 at 12:00 hours PST. A bid security of PKR 650 million is required. The project aims to provide a direct freight corridor to improve connectivity and traffic flow between Karachi Port and the city.
