Tender Description
This notification concerns the acquisition of 2 acres of settled land in Mouza Gurjezai, Halqa Abdullahzai, Tehsil and District Zhob, Balochistan. The Deputy Commissioner / Collector Zhob requires this land for the establishment of a Zhob Check Post, a public purpose project funded by public expense. The land acquisition is authorized under Section-4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, following a directive from the Director General Mines & Minerals Balochistan dated 23 December 2025.
The work involves surveying and taking possession of the specified land parcels, including Khasra Nos. 587/265 and 608/265, covering Banjar Qadeem type land. The site is located in a strategic area within Zhob district, requiring careful coordination with local authorities and landowners. The engineering and administrative teams will conduct surveys and necessary acts as permitted by the law to facilitate the check post construction.
Interested parties should note the legal framework governing this acquisition, including the requirement to file any objections in writing within 30 days of this notification as per Section 5(A) of the Land Acquisition Act. Compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements is essential, and the project aligns with government standards for land acquisition and public infrastructure development.
The deadline for filing objections or related submissions is within 30 days from the publication date of this notification. The Deputy Commissioner / Collector Zhob office is the point of contact for all procedural matters. Physical submissions and inquiries should be directed to the Deputy Commissioner's office in Zhob.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to review the notification carefully for any specific legal objections or claims on the land, as timely filing within the stipulated 30 days is crucial to avoid forfeiting rights. Also, verify the exact Khasra numbers and land details to prevent any confusion during the acquisition process.
