Tender Description

This tender invites contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council under relevant specialized codes for the annual repair and maintenance of federal government lodges, residential colonies, widow/soh houses, and mosques located in Quetta. The scope includes various civil works based on the Pakistan PWD Schedule of Rates 2022, ensuring structural integrity and upkeep of these government properties. The work demands skilled contractors familiar with local conditions and capable of managing repairs within a 90-day completion timeframe. The project site in Quetta presents unique engineering challenges due to its climatic conditions and the need to preserve the functional and aesthetic aspects of government lodges and community buildings. Contractors must ensure compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards outlined in the bidding documents available on the e-procurement platform. Bidders should hold valid registration with income tax and sales tax departments as active taxpayers and must be registered with PEC in the specified categories. It is advisable to verify PEC category compliance and ensure FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26 to avoid disqualification. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory and must be submitted before the bid submission deadline. The submission deadline is set for 10:00 AM on 30th January 2026, with electronic bids to be opened at 10:30 AM the same day via the EPADs portal. The physical submission of bid security must reach the Assistant Director, Estate Office Management, 2nd Floor, Regional Directorate Pak. PWD Complex, Sariab Road, Quetta during office hours before the deadline. Pro-Tip: Make sure to carefully check the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and bid security requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to bid rejection.
