Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the establishment of a Central Control Room in Karachi under the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh. The procurement covers IT & office equipment including laptops, LED monitors, UPS units, ergonomic furniture, and minor civil renovation works. The Reform Support Unit (RSU) manages the project funded by the DEEP program.
The scope includes supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of high-end laptops with Intel i7 13th generation processors, 27-inch LED monitors, 5KVA UPS for critical equipment, 1.5-ton split AC, and ergonomic office furniture. The site location is within the PECHS area of Karachi, with delivery and installation at designated schools under the SE&LD project area. The contract requires adherence to detailed technical specifications and quality assurance standards, with a total completion timeline of 200 days.
Bidders must be registered with FBR, possess valid GST and NTN certificates, and demonstrate financial strength with a minimum bank balance and turnover as per the technical evaluation criteria. PEC registration and technical certifications in IT & Software Engineering are mandatory. The tender follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended) and requires submission of bid security at 2% of the quoted amount and a performance security of 10% of the contract price.
Submission deadline is on 17th February 2026 at 02:30 pm, with technical bids opening at 03:00 pm the same day at the Reform Support Unit office in Karachi. Financial bids will be opened later for technically qualified bidders. Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-PADS portal. The contract includes a warranty period and retention money withheld until successful completion and acceptance.
