Tender Description
This tender invites experienced civil engineering consultancy firms to provide detailed supervision services for the Pakistan Maritime Housing Scheme located on a 4.9-acre plot in DHA Phase VII Extension, Karachi. Issued by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, this opportunity focuses on consultancy services within the construction sector.
The consultancy scope includes assessing and evaluating builder-submitted drawings, BoQs, and technical specifications. The firm will prepare detailed work schedules, provide on-site supervision through a dedicated civil engineer, and submit weekly and monthly progress reports. The project involves supervising 18 residential units (G+1), officers mess, masjid, park, parking, roads, boundary walls, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with approved designs and construction standards.
Applicants must hold a valid PEC registration certificate and submit an affidavit confirming no blacklisting by any government organization. The project completion timeline is two years from DHA construction approval, with a six-month grace period. The joint venture between PMSA and Motiwala Builders assigns PMSA a 44% share. Firms should ensure their financial and technical proposals meet the 2025-26 requirements and maintain FBR/ATL compliance.
Submission deadline is on the 2nd of January 2026, with bids to be received in sealed envelopes. The opening and evaluation will be conducted at the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency office located at Plot 34-A, Dockyard Road, Karachi. Interested parties should prepare their documents carefully and adhere strictly to submission guidelines.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to check the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements, which are often overlooked but critical for bid acceptance.
