Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Dadu for the construction of a park at Markhpur Muhalla under the Buildings Division Dadu. The project falls under the Construction & Civil Works Materials category and requires experienced firms registered with PEC in relevant categories. The scope includes excavation, reinforced concrete, brickwork, plastering, painting, plumbing, and installation of fixtures, all to be executed with quality materials and workmanship.
The work involves comprehensive civil construction activities including foundation excavation, RCC works, brick masonry, plastering, and finishing. The site is located in Dadu, Sindh, where contractors must consider local soil conditions and climatic factors. The project demands precise execution of structural elements such as beams, slabs, columns, and walls, along with plumbing installations including GI pipes, UPVC pipes, and sanitary fittings. The engineering challenges include ensuring structural integrity, proper curing, and finishing of surfaces, as well as timely procurement and installation of materials.
Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under categories C-05 or C-06 with specialization CE09, CE10, or CE11, and have a valid renewal up to June 2026. They should have completed similar works of at least 80% of the estimated cost or two works each of 50% cost in the last five years. Compliance with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) registration and active tax payer status is mandatory. The tender requires submission of technical and financial proposals electronically through the EPADS system, with a bid validity of 90 days and a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost.
The submission deadline is set for 13th April 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM on the same day via the EPADS online portal. The physical delivery of tender fee and bid security instruments must be made before the deadline. The office of the Executive Engineer Buildings Division Dadu is the point of contact for any clarifications. The tender fee is PKR 3,000 and the completion period is 18 months.
Pro-Tip: Ensure strict adherence to the bid submission instructions on the EPADS portal and timely delivery of the original tender fee and bid security instruments. Missing the physical submission of these documents before the deadline will lead to disqualification. Also, carefully review the PEC category requirements and ensure all supporting documents including audited financial statements and tax certificates are up to date and attached.
