Tender Description
This tender invites sealed technical and financial proposals from approved contractors/firms registered with BPPRA and the Public Health Engineering Department Balochistan for construction works involving solar systems for water supply schemes in Nushki District. The projects include drilling and development of bores ranging from 400 to 850 feet, installation of solar systems, and laying of pipes for water supply near Cricket Stadium Zahoor Abad, Killi Nial Khan, Killi Shakarap, and Killi Zarain Jungle. These works are part of the Phase-II development plan aimed at enhancing water infrastructure with sustainable solar energy solutions.
The scope covers civil works for bore drilling and development, installation of solar power systems, and pipe laying over various lengths up to 4000 feet. The sites are located in Nushki, Balochistan, where engineering challenges include ensuring reliable water extraction and solar power integration in a remote and arid environment. Contractors must be equipped to handle technical complexities and ensure quality materials and workmanship to meet project specifications.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and appear on the Active Taxpayer List. Firms should not be blacklisted by any procuring agency and must have completed at least three similar assignments demonstrating financial capacity and technical expertise. The tender follows the Single Stage - One Envelope procurement method, requiring submission of both technical and financial proposals together. A non-refundable fee of PKR 2000 is required for bidding documents, and bid security must be provided in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or bank guarantee.
The submission deadline is set for 27th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer PHE District Nushki. Interested bidders should submit sealed proposals physically at the specified office address. All terms and conditions are available during office hours at the undersigned office.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to obtain the bidding documents early and prepare the Call Deposit Receipt carefully, as no bank drafts or checks will be accepted. Also, verify the firmβs FBR ATL status and PEC registration to avoid disqualification during technical evaluation.
