Tender Description
This tender invites bids for multiple construction projects in Quetta under the Executive Engineer Urban Planning & Development Department. The scope includes construction of a local water bore water supply system in Usmania Hindu Colony, Kanwari Road, along with additional works at Brown Gym Khan Mandir, Krishna Mandir, and Kechi Beg Mandir on Saryab Road. Another major work involves construction of bituminous roads, laying tuff tile sewerage, and installation of solar street lights in Chirsten Colonies Bashirabad and Nawakilli. Additional solar installations are planned for the Gurudwara Bashirabad and minority homes. Lastly, solarization of Sant Merry School and solar street lights at Sent Marry Church are included. These projects require expertise in civil construction, water supply systems, sewerage, and solar electrical installations, all situated in Quetta's urban and suburban areas, demanding careful coordination and quality materials to meet local standards.
Bidders must be registered with the Balochistan Revenue Authority and appear on the Active Taxpayer List. The bidding firm should not be blacklisted and must have completed at least two similar assignments. The procurement follows the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014, with a mandatory 3% bid security in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call. Tender documents are available electronically via the BPPRA portal. The projects require compliance with PEC categories relevant to civil and electrical works, and bidders should ensure their FBR/ATL status is current for the fiscal year 2025-26.
Submission deadline is strictly by 09:00 AM on 26 January 2026 via the electronic public procurement system (EPPS). Tender opening will occur the same day at 09:15 AM on the EPPS platform. The physical office is located on New Zarghoon Road, Quetta. Interested bidders should prepare their technical and financial bids carefully, ensuring all documentation and bid securities are in order.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to register on the BPPRA electronic procurement system well in advance and double-check the bid security format to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the exact stamp duty requirements mentioned in the tender documents, as these are often overlooked and can cause delays.
