Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the construction of Water Supply Schemes (WSS) integrated with solar power systems and Overhead Bulk Reservoir (OHBR) tanks across multiple locations in District Nushki, Balochistan. The Public Health Engineering Department Balochistan requires experienced contractors to undertake drilling, installation of solar systems, laying of S.O. and U.P.V.C pipes, and construction of OHBR tanks ranging from 20,000 gallons capacity. The projects are spread across various sites including Killi Sardar Zahir Khan, Killi Amanullah Badin, Irrigation Colony, Muhallah Sher Muhammad, Killi Umar Shah, Nushki City, Killi Ghulam Abad, Killi Sahibzada, Killi Qadir Abad, Made Risa Gari Dak, and Muhallah Mufti Kafayatullah Zarak.
The scope involves complex civil and mechanical works requiring precise drilling for bore development, solar system installation for sustainable water pumping, and robust pipeline networks using S.O. and U.P.V.C pipes. Contractors must address engineering challenges posed by the arid terrain and ensure durable construction of OHBR tanks to support local water supply needs. The sites in Nushki demand adherence to quality standards and efficient resource management to meet the community's water infrastructure requirements.
Bidders should be registered with BPPRA and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with relevant categories for water supply and solar system works. Compliance with FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status is mandatory for the fiscal year 2025-26. Contractors must demonstrate financial capacity, technical expertise, and prior experience in similar projects. Submission of earnest money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and sealed financial proposals is required as per the tender rules.
The deadline for submission is the 30th of March 2025 by 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled on the same day at 12:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer PHED District Nushki. Interested firms can obtain bidding documents against a non-refundable fee and must ensure timely delivery of sealed envelopes to the specified address.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific stamp duty and security deposit requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Ensure all technical and financial documents are complete and properly sealed to avoid rejection during the bid opening process.
