Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the purchase and supply of various consumable items required at Power Station Mangla, located in Mangla, Punjab. The procurement covers miscellaneous consumables, electrical consumables, and mechanical consumables essential for the smooth operation and maintenance of the hydroelectric power station. The items will support ongoing power generation activities and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
The scope includes supply of high-quality consumables that meet the technical specifications necessary for the power station's equipment. Given the critical nature of the site, bidders must consider the logistical challenges of timely delivery and compliance with WAPDA's standards. The engineering team at Mangla oversees the procurement to maintain operational efficiency and safety.
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Compliance with PEC categories is advised for related works, and bidders should ensure all documentation, including Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), is prepared according to the 2025-26 fiscal year requirements.
The submission deadline for all bids is on the 3rd of February, 2026, with electronic bid opening scheduled on the same day at specified times for each lot. Bids must be submitted online via the EPADS portal. The Resident Engineer's office at Power Station Mangla will conduct the bid opening. Original bid securities must reach the office before the closing time.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bid security requirements and ensure the original CDR reaches the Resident Engineer's office on time, as late submissions are commonly rejected. Also, verify your ATL status before applying to avoid disqualification.
