Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Islamabad from Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) for the conversion of the 33 KV Fatehpur Grid Station to 132 KV, encompassing extensive construction and electrical works under the multiyear tariff for FY 2025-26. The project involves civil works including construction of a control house building, electrical equipment foundations, transformer way, switchyard fence wall, cable trenches, and environmental mitigation measures.
The scope covers excavation in hard rock and gravel, reinforced cement concrete works, brick masonry, plastering, fencing with GI angle iron and barbed wire, electrical wiring, installation of transformers, air conditioning units, fire fighting equipment, and landscaping. The site is located in Fatehpur, Islamabad Capital Territory, requiring careful coordination of heavy machinery, skilled labor, and adherence to engineering standards to ensure structural integrity and operational efficiency.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration with Category C-4 and specialization codes CE-10 & EE-05, maintain FBR/ATL compliance, and demonstrate financial capacity with an average annual turnover of PKR 392 million. The bid security must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt or Bank Guarantee. The contract includes a 365-day defect liability period and requires a 5% performance guarantee. Compliance with PPRA 2025 rules and PEC bylaws is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 07 April 2026 at 11:00 AM via the EPADS v2.0 online portal, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day.
