Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of specialized industrial materials including cutting discs, lead ingots, lead sheets, rupture discs, lifting gear, and Di-NitroToluene (DNT) to Pakistan Ordnance Factories located in Wah Cantt, Punjab. The procurement is managed by the Supply Chain Management department of POF, focusing on high-quality materials essential for manufacturing and maintenance operations within the defense sector.
The scope covers multiple items with specific quantities such as 6 cutting discs, 3 items of lead ingots and sheets, 2 items of rupture discs and lifting gear, and 18 metric tons of Di-NitroToluene. These materials require adherence to strict quality standards and timely delivery to support ongoing production lines. Wah Cantt's industrial environment demands suppliers capable of meeting rigorous technical specifications and compliance with safety regulations.
Bidders should ensure they meet the necessary PEC categories and maintain valid FBR/ATL registration for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as Earnest Money and carefully review the technical bid requirements to avoid disqualification. Compliance with all tax and regulatory obligations is mandatory to participate in this tender.
The submission deadline is set for 10th February 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled at 10:30 AM on the same day. All bids must be submitted online through the official POF e-bidding portal. Interested parties can obtain detailed bidding documents from the Supply Chain Management office or download them free of cost from www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk.
Pro-Tip: Double-check the technical specifications and ensure your bid includes all required documentation, especially the CDR and valid tax certificates, as these are common reasons for bid rejection in POF tenders.
