Tender Description
This recruitment opportunity in Kalat Division by the Divisional Health Committee focuses on filling Disease Surveillance Officer (DSO) positions. It targets qualified medical professionals to strengthen health monitoring and outbreak response in Balochistan.
The DSOs will be responsible for leading surveillance activities across multiple districts including Kalat, Surab, Khuzdar, Lasbela, and Awaran. Their duties include managing surveillance data, conducting active case searches, and promoting community engagement to control disease outbreaks effectively. Candidates must hold MBBS/BDS degrees with PMDC registration, and preference is given to those with MSPH/MPH/FETP qualifications. The role demands coordination and timely reporting to ensure measurable targets in surveillance sensitivity and completeness.
Applicants should note the contractual nature of the appointment, with no entitlement to regularization. Compliance with government policies, including submission of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for government employees, is mandatory. Candidates must be free from any disciplinary or criminal disqualifications. The recruitment process emphasizes merit-based selection without canvassing, and the Divisional Health Committee reserves the right to cancel or postpone the process.
Interested candidates must appear for a walk-in interview on the 10th of March 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the office of the Commissioner/Chairman, Divisional Health Committee, Kalat Division. They should bring original documents and attested copies including PMDC registration, educational and professional certificates, domicile, CNIC, photographs, and an updated CV.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all documents are complete and attested as per requirements to avoid disqualification. Double-check the interview timing and venue details in the official advertisement to prevent any last-minute issues.
