Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap materials located at LESCO's Regional Stores in Shalamar and Pattoki, Lahore. The items include copper scrap conductors and PVC scrap (aluminium off size) offered on an 'As is Where is' basis. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the scrap during office hours to assess the condition and quantity before submitting their bids through the E-PADS online portal.
The scope involves lifting and removal of scrap materials within 21 working days of the work order issuance. The contractor must arrange vehicles, labor, and comply with safety protocols including providing PPE to workers. The scrap disposal requires careful handling due to the nature of materials and site conditions at LESCO stores in Lahore. The process follows a single stage one envelope bidding procedure under PPRA rules.
Bidders must be registered with FBR, hold an active taxpayer status, and submit affidavits confirming no blacklisting and compliance with public health, safety, and environmental regulations. Bid security is mandatory for each lot and must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or bank guarantee from scheduled banks. The bid validity period is 120 days from the opening date.
Submission deadline is on the 1st of April 2026 by 12:00 PM with bid opening at 12:30 PM at the office of Chief Engineer (Material Management), LESCO HQ, 22-A Queens Road, Lahore. Original bid securities must be physically submitted before bid opening. The successful bidder must deposit full payment within 21 working days of the Letter of Acceptance issuance.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to carefully review the bid security requirements and submit the original security instrument on time to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the latest tax and regulatory compliance documents to meet evaluation criteria effectively.
