Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the disposal of waste and used papers at the Federal Public Service Commission in Islamabad, focusing on recycling efforts within the government sector. The scope includes removal and shredding of approximately 45,000 kg of various waste papers including used OMR sheets, question papers, answer sheets, and old application files.
The work requires bidders to provide heavy-duty shredding equipment to securely destroy classified documents at the FPSC headquarters located on Aga Khan Road. The process involves lifting waste papers from the fourth floor to the ground floor, shredding them into multiple pieces under supervision, and ensuring secure transportation. This task demands careful handling to maintain confidentiality and compliance with government standards.
Bidders must be active taxpayers on the FBR list and demonstrate past experience with similar contracts worth at least PKR 5 million annually over the last two financial years. Compliance with PEC categories is not applicable here, but bidders should ensure valid tax status and provide a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as bid security. The contract requires adherence to FBR and ATL regulations for the fiscal year 2025-26.
The submission deadline is set for 10:30 am on 30th January 2026, with bid opening at 11:00 am the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Director (Logistics), Room No.14, FPSC HQs, F-5/1, Aga Khan Road, Islamabad. All bids must include required documentation and bid security to be considered valid.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes the affidavit on stamp paper confirming non-blacklisting and confidentiality compliance, as missing this often leads to disqualification. Also, verify the exact stamp duty requirements mentioned in the newspaper advertisement to avoid technical rejection.
