Tender Description
This tender invites bids from eligible contractors for the construction of drinking water supply and sanitation schemes across the central districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Sawabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar, and Nowshera. The Public Health Engineering Division Peshawar-I requires specialized works involving tube wells, pumping chambers, distribution systems, street pavements, and drainage systems. The projects cover multiple schemes such as WSS Sheikh Jalal Colony, WSS Ander Sheher, and others, with estimated costs ranging from PKR 10.682 million to PKR 28.669 million. These works are critical for improving water infrastructure and sanitation facilities in the region, demanding quality materials and adherence to engineering standards suitable for the local terrain and urban settings in Peshawar and surrounding areas.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the required category and maintain active status with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and Federal Board of Revenue. The tender follows the KP-PPRA rules 2014 under a single-stage two-envelope procedure, requiring submission of technical and financial bids separately. Earnest Money of 2% of the estimated cost plus stamp duty is mandatory. The tender also mandates submission of Call Deposit Receipts (CDR) and compliance with all provincial government guidelines.
Contractors should ensure their PEC registration aligns with the project category and verify their FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26 to avoid disqualification. The tender emphasizes strict adherence to KP-PPRA notifications and requires bidders to submit bids through the EPADS online portal before the deadline.
The submission deadline is set for 17th March 2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:30 PM. Bids must be submitted physically or uploaded via EPADS, with original bid securities deposited at the office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division Peshawar-I, located at Plot 40, Sector B-II, Phase V, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty requirements and ensure your Call Deposit Receipt is correctly prepared to avoid bid rejection. Also, attend the pre-bid meeting on 8th March 2026 to clarify any technical queries through EPADS.
