Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of Electro Mech System Platform and various miscellaneous items at Heavy Industries Taxila, Punjab. The Supply Chain Management Directorate requires these items to support ongoing projects and maintenance activities within the Taxila Cantt area. The scope includes servo motors, foot pipes, meter cables, inverters, voltage regulators, iron pipes, steel cables, and other electrical and mechanical components essential for system upgrades and repairs.
The procurement involves supply of brand new, OEM-certified items conforming to technical specifications outlined in Annexure G. Delivery is expected within 15 days after contract signing, with all goods to be inspected and tested as per acceptance criteria. The tender follows a two-envelope system with separate technical and financial proposals. Bidders must submit a bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt or Bank Draft and comply with all registration and eligibility criteria including NTN and Sales Tax registration.
Firms must be registered or provisionally registered with HIT and meet the eligibility requirements under DPP&I-35. The tender requires compliance with PEC categories and mandates submission of audit reports for the last three financial years, bank statements, and other supporting documents. The financial proposal must remain valid for 180 days, extendable by 90 days. The contract includes warranty and performance bank guarantees, with penalties for late delivery and non-compliance.
