The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lahore invites qualified contractors for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Package-III: Electro-Mechanical Works of the Attabad Lake Hydropower Project (54 MW) located in Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan. This tender covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of major electro-mechanical equipment including Francis turbines, governors, main inlet valves, synchronous generators, power transformers, 132 kV switchgear, hydraulic gates, and associated auxiliaries. The tender follows a single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure with electronic submission via EPADs portal only. A bid security of PKR 120 million is required. The contract includes strict compliance with environmental, social, health and safety (ESHS) standards, including a mandatory Code of Conduct for personnel to prevent sexual exploitation and harassment.
