Tender Description

This tender invites bids for the purchase of Hybrid Sunflower Seed covering 4014 acres and Pulses including Mungbean, Mash, Chickpea, Lentil, and Groundnuts seed for 3510 acres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Directorate General of Agriculture Extension in Peshawar is managing this procurement under the ADP/AIP and NON-ADP projects for the fiscal year 2025-26. The procurement involves high-quality agricultural seeds essential for enhancing crop yield and supporting local farmers. The seeds will be distributed across various districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, requiring careful handling and timely delivery to meet the sowing season. The project demands compliance with provincial and federal regulations, ensuring seeds meet quality standards and are suitable for the region's agro-climatic conditions. Bidders must be registered with sales tax, income tax, and other relevant provincial and federal authorities, including FSC and RD. The tender follows the KPPRA rules with submission through the E-PAK acquisition and disposal system (EPADS). The process requires submission of single stage-two envelopes containing separately sealed technical and financial bids. A Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of 2% of the total bid value is mandatory as earnest money. The submission deadline is set for 10th February 2026, with bids opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Directorate General Agriculture Extension office, Main Jamrud Road opposite Islamia College, Peshawar. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 3rd February 2026 at 11:30 AM. Interested bidders should obtain the bidding documents by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000. Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid package clearly marks technical and financial envelopes in bold and check the KPPRA website for any updates or amendments. Missing the CDR or improper bid sealing often leads to disqualification, so pay close attention to these details.
