Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the purchase of various types of local certified fruit plants and dates plants under ADP/AIP/Non-ADP projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the financial year 2025-26. The procurement covers a wide range of fruit plants including apple, apricot, peach, plum, grapes, citrus, litchi, walnut, avocado, fig, dragon fruit, loquat, guava, persimmon, pomegranate, cherry, pecan nuts, almond, pistachio, pear, and passion fruit totaling 900 acres. Additionally, 50,000 date plants of varieties Dhakki, Mazafti, Shakri, and Gulistan are required. The Directorate General of Agriculture Extension in Peshawar oversees this procurement to support local agriculture development and enhance fruit production in the region.
Bidders must submit their offers through the E-PAK acquisition and disposal system (EPADS) using a single stage-two envelope procedure, separating technical and financial bids. The tender documents can be obtained from the office against a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000. The submission deadline is set for 4th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day. The office is located at Main Jamrud Road opposite Islamia College, Peshawar.
Interested bidders should ensure they meet all registration requirements including Sales Tax, Income Tax, FSC, and RD registrations. The tender advises compliance with all relevant provincial and federal government regulations. It is important to note that the quantity may be adjusted based on fund availability. The tender does not specify PEC categories or FBR/ATL status, so bidders should verify their eligibility and ensure all documentation is in order for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The submission process requires careful attention to detail, especially in preparing the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) for 2% of the total bid value, which must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The tender emphasizes timely submission and adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in the bidding documents.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to check the official KPRA website and the tender notice for any updates or amendments, and carefully prepare your technical and financial bids to avoid disqualification due to procedural errors.
