Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the provision and installation of polyethylene (PE) water supply pipelines and associated infrastructure across various locations in Multan Cantt, including Mehboob Bakery to Nusrat Road, Quaid-e-Azam Road to Lal Kurti Chowk, Bijli Ghar Chowk to Aziz Hotel Chowk, and other key sites. The Cantonment Board Multan requires experienced contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and possessing valid NTN and PEC registration for relevant codes and categories. The projects involve supply and laying of PE pipelines, erection of tube wells with pump rooms, supply and fixing of motors and transformers, and construction of sewerage pipelines and shops. These works demand quality materials compliant with engineering standards and careful site management to address urban infrastructure challenges in Multan Cantt.
The scope covers civil works, plumbing, and electrical installations, requiring contractors to manage excavation, pipeline laying, pump installation, and electrical connections. The projects are located in busy urban areas, necessitating coordination with local authorities and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Contractors must ensure timely completion while maintaining high workmanship standards to support the water supply and sewerage infrastructure of Multan Cantt.
Bidders should hold PEC registration in the relevant categories and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank is mandatory, with amounts specified per project. Bidders must submit a judicial stamp paper undertaking confirming no litigation involvement. Performance security will be required if bid prices fall below 5% of the estimated cost. Compliance with PPRA rules and Cantonment Board terms is essential.
The submission deadline is set for 31st March 2026, with bid opening at 12:00 PM at the Cantonment Board Multan office. Bids must be submitted online via the E-Pads portal at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Physical attendance at the opening session is allowed for authorized representatives. All documents, including bid forms, instructions, and evaluation criteria, are available exclusively on the PPRA E-Pads portal.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes the correct Earnest Money and performance security as per the tender notice. Missing or incorrect financial instruments often lead to disqualification. Also, verify your PEC registration codes and FBR ATL status before submission to avoid technical rejection.
