Tender Description
This tender invites qualified companies to establish, operate, and maintain a branded perfume and cosmetics shop at Jinnah International Airport Karachi. The concession space measures 320 sq.ft. located in Shop No. 9, Level-VI, Shopping Arcade, Departure Area. The contract period is five years or until outsourcing, with a 10% annual price enhancement on a cumulative basis. Karachi's airport environment demands efficient retail management and compliance with airport security and operational standards.
Bidders must have a strong financial background and relevant experience, with an 80% weightage on technical evaluation. The tender requires submission of separate sealed Technical and Financial bids, which will be opened in the presence of bidders. The site's location within a busy international airport presents logistical challenges, including adherence to strict operational timings and customer service standards.
Applicants should ensure they meet all regulatory requirements including valid NTN certificates and CNIC copies. Advance Income Tax will be deducted as per Section 236-A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001. It is advisable to verify FBR ATL status and ensure no outstanding dues with PAA to avoid disqualification. The tender process demands strict compliance with submission guidelines and earnest money rules to avoid blacklisting.
The submission deadline is on the 28th of January 2026, with technical bids opening at 11:30 AM in the Main Conference Room, Level-VI, Jinnah Terminal, JIAP Karachi. Tender documents must be dropped in the designated box before the deadline. Late or conditional bids will be rejected.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all documents are authentic to avoid blacklisting by PAA.
