Tender Description
This announcement from Quetta's Social Welfare and Human Rights Department offers fully funded scholarships in Prosthetics and Orthotics for deserving students of Balochistan. The scholarships cover tuition, admission, and hostel fees under the Chamalang Balochistan Education Initiative 2024-2026.
The program includes six scholarships for a four-year graduate degree and four scholarships for a two-year technician certification course. Candidates from all eight divisions of Balochistan will be selected strictly on merit and aptitude. Selected students must commit to serving the Government of Balochistan for five years post-completion. The courses focus on developing skilled professionals in Prosthetics and Orthotics, addressing a critical healthcare need in the region.
Applicants must be local domicile holders with at least 60% marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) for the degree program and Matriculation (Science) for the technician course. Affidavit proof of no other scholarships and demonstrated financial need are mandatory. The merit criteria weigh F.Sc. marks at 90% and Matric marks at 10%. Candidates should ensure their PEC registration and FBR ATL compliance for eligibility in 2025-26.
Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 17th March 2026 to the Director General, Social Welfare & Human Rights Department, Quetta. Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained. Contact details are provided for further inquiries.
Pro-Tip: Double-check your affidavit and domicile certificates for accuracy before submission, as these documents are critical for eligibility and often cause disqualification if incomplete or incorrect.
