Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms to undertake the provision and maintenance of various facilities at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base in Chaklala, Punjab. The Military Engineer Services (PAF) requires experienced contractors to ensure the upkeep and enhancement of infrastructure within the base, involving civil works and engineering tasks.
The scope includes the repair, renovation, and maintenance of existing facilities using approved construction materials and techniques suitable for military installations. The site is located in Chaklala, a strategic military zone, which demands adherence to strict engineering standards and timely completion to avoid operational disruptions.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration in Category C-2 or above and be compliant with FBR/ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26. Firms should provide evidence of satisfactory work completion certificates and relevant technical experience. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) amounting to 2% of the bid security is mandatory. No special reports of delayed recoveries or outstanding dues will be accepted.
The submission deadline is set for 29 January 2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled immediately thereafter at the Military Engineer Services office in Chaklala. Interested parties should submit sealed bids in hard copy format by the stated deadline. The office is open for inquiries from 0715 to 1335 hours on working days.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to verify the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and bid security requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, confirm your PEC category and FBR status well in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
