Tender Description
This tender invites bids for raising a nursery of 100000 fruit plants in Quetta under the Deputy Conservator of Forest Quetta City. The project involves establishing a large-scale nursery with quality fruit plants, requiring expertise in horticulture and nursery management. The site in Quetta demands careful selection of plant species suited to local climatic conditions and soil, ensuring sustainable growth and productivity.
The work requires compliance with the Balochistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority rules, 2014. Firms must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above, renewed through 2025-26, and maintain active tax status with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Active Taxpayer List (ATL). These requirements ensure only qualified and compliant contractors participate, safeguarding project quality and accountability.
Bidding documents can be obtained from the Deputy Conservator of Forest Quetta City office upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 1000 via Green Challan Form deposited in National Bank of Pakistan under head C-03370. The documents are also downloadable from www.bppra.org.pk. Bidders must submit their bids in sealed envelopes by hand or registered mail by the deadline of 06/02/2026 at 10:00 am. The technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 am in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
The submission address is the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forest Quetta City. Bid validity is ninety days. Pro-Tip: Ensure your Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) for bid security is correctly prepared at 2% of the estimated cost and attached with your bid, as missing or incorrect CDRs often lead to disqualification.
