Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the reconductoring and remodeling of a 22.783 km 132 kV transmission line from Burhan to Kamra in Islamabad Capital Territory under the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO). The project involves construction of tower foundations, RCC pile foundations for poles, erection of towers and steel tubular poles, stringing of conductors and shield wires, dismantling of existing lines, and implementation of environmental management and monitoring plans. The scope covers detailed civil and electrical works including foundation casting, steel tower erection, conductor stringing, and environmental mitigation measures.
The work site is located in Islamabad Capital Territory, requiring specialized construction materials such as reinforced cement concrete, deformed reinforcement bars, and medium angle steel towers. The engineering challenges include precise foundation work with bored RCC piles, handling of heavy steel structures, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. The project duration is 210 days post contract signing, with a fixed price contract of PKR 72,184,713.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration for 2025-26 with Category C-4 and specialization codes CE-02, CE-10, EE-05. Compliance with FBR and provincial sales tax registration is mandatory. The tender follows the Public Procurement Rules 2025, requiring bid security in the form of call deposit, bank guarantee, or demand draft.
