Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the rehabilitation of Imam Bargahs, Graveyard, and Dispensary comprising 10 units in Taluka Larkano, Sindh, under the 2025-26 District ADP program. The Executive Engineer, Education Works Division Larkano, is overseeing this project which involves extensive civil works including dismantling, brickwork, plastering, RCC work, flooring with marble and tiles, painting, and electrical and plumbing installations. The site is located at Imam Bargah Dar-e-Karbala bypass, Larkano, requiring skilled workmanship and adherence to quality standards to ensure durability and safety.
The scope covers a variety of construction activities such as reinforced cement concrete work, brick masonry, cement plastering, laying of marble and glazed tiles, and installation of water supply and electrification systems. The project demands careful coordination of materials like cement, steel reinforcement, bricks, marble, and electrical fittings. Contractors must be prepared to manage site challenges including proper curing, finishing, and compliance with structural specifications. The work period is 8 months from the date of commencement, with strict adherence to timelines and quality control.
Bidders must hold valid NTN, FBR and SRB registrations, and demonstrate experience in similar works executed in the last five years with financial turnover matching the project cost. PEC registration is required where applicable. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and performance security of 5% will be enforced. Income tax, SRB tax, and security deductions will apply as per government rules. The tender follows the Single Stage β Two Envelope Procedure as per SPPRA rules.
Submission deadline is set for 7 days after the publish date, with bids to be submitted in sealed envelopes at the office of the Executive Engineer, Education Works Division, near High Court Building, CMC Road, Larkano. Bid opening will occur at the same venue and date as notified in the NIT. Contractors should ensure all documents, including bid security and authorization letters, are complete and properly signed.
