Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Karachi to undertake the rehabilitation and improvement of the road and footpath at Gurumandir Chowrangi, including surrounding roads under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Engineering Department. The project falls under Road & Infrastructure Works & Materials and Construction & Civil Works Materials categories, with an estimated cost of PKR 100 million. The scope includes dismantling existing cement block masonry, cement concrete, earthwork excavation, cartage, concrete laying, steel reinforcement, plastering, asphalt concrete wearing course, pavement marking, and installation of precast edge blocks and new jersey barriers. Submission requires a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and a non-refundable tender fee. The contractor must also submit an Integrity Pact on stamp paper worth Rs. 200 and comply with all SPPRA rules and notifications for the fiscal year 2025-26.
