Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the renovation and repair of Basic Health Units (BHUs) and departmental offices in Killa Abdullah, Balochistan, under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) Phase II. The department requires skilled contractors to execute civil works including structural repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance of health facilities and administrative offices. The projects are based on composite schedule rates 2023 and cover multiple sites including BHU Jungal Pir Alizai, BHU Haji Bismillah Aadamzai, BHU Dolangi, BHU Kuchnai Dobandi, BHU Takri Abdullah Jan, and offices for all line head departments at Jangal Pir Alizai. These works demand careful handling of local materials and adherence to engineering standards suitable for the region's climatic and geographic conditions. The scope includes masonry, plastering, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs to ensure functional and safe health service delivery points.
Bidders must be registered, active taxpayers, and not blacklisted by any procuring agency. The firm should have completed at least three similar assignments with a minimum turnover of PKR 3,482,572 and demonstrate financial capacity with documented turnover of PKR 20,886,098 in previous years. Bid security of 3% of the estimated cost is mandatory, submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank. Tender documents are available for PKR 1,500 and can be obtained during office hours until 04 March 2026.
Ensure your PEC registration is valid and aligned with the required category for civil works. Verify your FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the fiscal year 2025-26 to avoid disqualification. Compliance with these requirements is crucial for a successful bid. The department follows the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014, emphasizing transparency and fairness.
Submit your sealed bids by 12:00 PM on 04 March 2026 at the office located on Jangal Pir Alizai Road, Killa Abdullah. Technical bids will be opened at 01:00 PM the same day. Late submissions will not be entertained. This timeline ensures a smooth evaluation process and timely project commencement.
Pro-Tip: Double-check the tender advertisement for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, ensure your bid security is correctly formatted as a Call Deposit Receipt to avoid disqualification.
