Tender Description
This tender invites contractors to undertake various repair and maintenance works at PAF Base Faisal, Karachi, issued by the Military Engineer Services. The scope includes maintenance of office buildings, non-residential and residential buildings within the base, with individual contracts ranging from PKR 600,000 to PKR 2.6 million. The works require skilled contractors familiar with civil repair tasks and capable of managing multiple sites within a secured military environment.
The projects involve structural repairs, upkeep of facilities, and ensuring operational readiness of the base infrastructure. Karachi's coastal climate poses challenges such as corrosion and humidity effects on building materials, demanding quality workmanship and durable materials. Contractors must be prepared to coordinate with base authorities and comply with security protocols during execution.
Applicants must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration and provide evidence of FBR registration and ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Experience in similar military or government projects is essential, and contractors should ensure their documentation, including Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), is complete to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 16 April 2026 at 11:30 AM, with tender opening at 12:00 PM on the same day. Applications for tender documents must be submitted by 9 April 2026 before 11:30 AM. The office of GE (Air) Faisal, located at PAF Base Faisal, Karachi, will handle all correspondence and tender submissions.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to rejection. Also, ensure your firm's litigation status certificate is up to date to meet the tender conditions.
