Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms in Jakarta to undertake the repair of roofs at the Chancery Building and Ambassador's Residence along with renovation of the lobby and display room at the Embassy of Pakistan. The Embassy of Pakistan, Jakarta requires experienced contractors to execute these civil works with high-quality materials and professional workmanship.
The scope includes inspection and assessment of existing roof structures, removal of damaged materials, repair and replacement of waterproofing layers, treatment of cracks, and application of waterproof coatings. Additionally, the lobby and display room will be renovated to address water seepage damage, including woodwork repairs and pest treatment. All works must comply with Indonesian Building Codes and safety regulations, ensuring durable and safe restoration at the Embassy premises in Mega Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan.
Bidders should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria including valid business licenses, tax registrations, and relevant experience with at least two similar projects completed in the last two years. Compliance with PEC categories is not applicable here due to the international location, but bidders must maintain active tax status and adhere to the Embassy's procurement rules. The financial bid must be supported by a refundable bid security of 2% of the quoted value.
The submission deadline is set for 10 April 2026 at 12:00 hours local time, with bid opening at 12:30 hours at the Embassy premises. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked as Technical and Financial Proposals to the Head of Chancery at the Embassy address. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bid security requirements and ensure the Bank Guarantee or Demand Draft is issued by a reputable bank operating in Indonesia, as this is a common pitfall that can lead to disqualification. Also, verify all technical documents and licenses are current and properly attested to avoid rejection during preliminary scrutiny.
