Tender Description
This tender invites experienced contractors in Shaheed Benazirabad for the construction of multiple Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants and drainage systems in various villages and Taluka Sakrand. The Public Health Engineering Department requires installation of RO plants in 11 villages of Taluka Daur and Nawabshah, each valued at PKR 9.8 million with a 6-month completion period. Additionally, drainage and paving block works are required in Taluka Sakrand with estimated costs of PKR 33 million and PKR 35.2 million respectively.
The scope includes civil works such as excavation, cement concrete, RCC work, paving blocks, and drainage system installation. The sites are spread across rural areas of Shaheed Benazirabad and Taluka Sakrand, demanding careful logistical planning and adherence to local environmental conditions. Contractors must ensure quality materials and workmanship to meet the technical specifications and withstand local climatic challenges.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for 2025-26 in categories CE09, CE10, ME06, and EE11, and hold valid registrations with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board. Compliance with all statutory requirements including labor insurance, professional tax, ISO certifications, and electrical inspector licenses is mandatory. Earnest money of 5% of the bid amount is required in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR).
The submission deadline is 23rd April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening on the same day at the Public Health Engineering Division office located on Jam Sahib Road, Nawabshah. Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS portal. Tender documents are available at the Executive Engineer's office or can be downloaded from the official Sindh e-procurement portal.
