Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the installation of 5 KV solar systems and allied rehabilitation works at multiple religious sites including Masjid Abul Fazul Abbas, Masjid Ali at Dargah Syed Haji Shah Bukhari, and Dargah Noor Mohammad Shah Lakyari in Hyderabad, as well as repair and renovation works at Shash Shaheed Dargah in Karachi. The Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh Hyderabad is overseeing this project, which falls under the categories of Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment and Construction & Civil Works Materials.
The scope includes civil works such as rehabilitation of exterior walls, washrooms, ablution areas, and installation of solar power systems. The sites are located in Hyderabad and Karachi, requiring careful coordination and adherence to engineering standards. The project demands quality materials like Afghan Ziarat white marble flooring and cement concrete, alongside solar components including solar plates, MPPTs, and GI angle iron structures. The engineering challenges involve integrating solar technology with existing structures while ensuring durability and compliance with local standards.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under relevant codes and hold valid registrations with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB). Compliance with PEC categories and FBR/ATL status for the financial year 2025-26 is mandatory. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) amounting to 5% of the bid value. Technical bids will be evaluated on detailed criteria including experience, financial turnover, and bank statements. Only technically qualified bidders will have their financial bids opened.
The submission deadline is set for 13th April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at the Office of the Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh Hyderabad, located opposite Session Court, Fatima Jinnah Road, Hyderabad. Bidders must submit their bids online through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) and also provide original sealed copies of tender fee and bid security at the office before the opening time.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all pages of the technical proposal are numbered and attested with the firm's stamp and CNIC-compliant signature. Also, carefully review the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification.
