Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the solarization of multiple Drinking Water Supply Schemes (DWSS) across Bannu Division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the Public Health Engineering Department. The project involves installing solar power systems to energize water supply infrastructure, enhancing sustainability and reducing reliance on conventional electricity. The works cover various localities including Nek Nawaz Arsla, Rahim Abad Bara, and Kotka areas, requiring specialized electrical and civil engineering expertise to integrate solar panels, inverters, and related equipment with existing water supply networks.
The scope demands compliance with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Category C-6 or above, with specialized codes CE-09, CE-10, EE-04, and EE-11 (Solar). Bidders must be registered with relevant authorities including KP-PPRA, FBR with active NTN and STRN, and hold an Electric Contractor License Class-E issued by the Energy & Power Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project requires adherence to quality management standards such as ISO-9001 or equivalent.
Bidders should ensure their PEC registration and FBR status are current for the 2025-26 financial year, as these are mandatory for eligibility. The tender follows KP-PPRA rules 2014 with amendments, and bid security must be submitted as per the latest KP-PPRA notification. Technical and financial bids are to be submitted electronically via EPADS, with original bid securities and tender fees physically delivered to the Executive Engineer's office.
The submission deadline is set for 20th April 2026 at 12:30 PM, with technical bids opening at 2:00 PM the same day at the Public Health Engineering Division office in Bannu. Financial bids will be opened after technical evaluation, with bidders notified accordingly. The physical address for submission is the office of the Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Division Bannu.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bid solicitation documents for the exact stamp duty and call deposit receipt requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all uploaded documents on EPADS are clear and readable to avoid rejection during technical evaluation.
