Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Gwadar for multiple term contracts and miscellaneous repair works under Military Engineer Services. The scope includes decorative building repairs, internal electrification, water supply and sul gas systems, and earthworks. These contracts require expertise in civil and electrical engineering, with a focus on maintenance and renovation in the challenging coastal environment of Gwadar.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted in categories A to E. The tender demands proven experience in similar works and a clean legal record. Firms should prepare to submit detailed credentials and technical bids, ensuring compliance with PEC and FBR/ATL requirements for the 2025-26 financial year.
Submission deadline is set for 13 May 2026, with bid opening at 1200 hrs the same day. Applications must be submitted to the General Engineer (A)-I office in Gwadar by 1130 hrs. Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is expected as per tender documents.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender documents for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all PEC registration certificates are up to date and included with the bid.
