Tender Description
This tender invites contractors to undertake a variety of construction and improvement projects in Walton Cantonment, Lahore, issued by the Military Lands and Cantonments Department, Walton Cantonment Board. The scope covers building construction, road resurfacing, sewerage pipeline installation, water supply system upgrades, and public lighting enhancements, reflecting a comprehensive urban infrastructure development effort.
The works include constructing plazas at Cavalry Ground, re-carpeting roads from DHA Phase-I to V, laying PCC streets in multiple wards, and installing sewerage trunk pipelines. Water supply improvements involve new tube wells, submersible pumps, and filtration plants across various wards. Public lighting upgrades focus on converting sodium lights to LED across DHA phases and installing LED street lights in key areas. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for the 2025-26 financial year and appear on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Compliance with PEC and FBR requirements is essential, including valid NTN and PEC registration. Contractors should prepare earnest money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 2% of the estimated cost, issued by a scheduled bank, and upload scanned copies on the E-PADS portal. The tender follows the MES Schedule of Rates 2021, amended to date.
The submission deadline is set for 16th February 2026 at 12:00 PM, with electronic bid opening at 2:00 PM on the same day via the E-PADS portal. No hard copies will be issued.
