Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Rawalpindi and surrounding areas under the Military Engineer Services for various construction and upgradation projects. The scope covers building ammo igloos, OP towers, radar sheds, walls, and maintenance of POL bulk installations across multiple sites including Nsr, DIK, Psc, and Khn Cantt.
The works involve heavy civil construction using concrete, steel, and security installations. Projects include erecting safety parapet walls, upgrading electrical substations, and refurbishing water supply pipelines. The sites are strategically important military locations requiring adherence to strict engineering standards and security protocols.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in categories 'A' or 'B' and possess valid FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Experience in similar military or government projects is essential. Tenderers should ensure their Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and technical bids comply with MES requirements to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 30 January 2026 at 1130 hours, with bid opening at 1200 hours on the same day. Applications must be submitted to the HQ DW&CE (A) GHQ Rawalpindi. Interested parties can contact authorized representatives from 0800 to 1500 hours on working days for further details.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender documents for Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, ensure all PEC registration certificates and performance reports are up to date before submission.
