Tender Description
This tender invites bids from qualified vendors in Karachi for Diesel Ambulance Suspension Overhauling Services under a closed framework contract valid for one year. The procurement is managed by Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS), focusing on maintaining the suspension systems of 463 ambulances operating across Sindh. The scope includes comprehensive inspection, diagnosis, repair, replacement of suspension components, wheel alignment, and preventive maintenance using genuine or OEM-approved parts to ensure vehicle safety and patient comfort.
The work requires vendors with at least three years of experience in suspension repair for commercial vehicles, equipped workshops, certified technicians, and the capacity to service multiple vehicles simultaneously. The contract demands adherence to OEM standards, safety torque specifications, and quality control with a maximum turnaround time of two working days per ambulance. Emergency repair services must be available within 24 hours.
Bidders must be registered on the FBR and SRB active taxpayer lists and comply with PEC and FBR requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26. The bid security is fixed at PKR 200,000, and performance security is 5% of the contract value. Bids remain valid for 90 days, and payments are made on a monthly or quarterly basis against verified invoices. The contract includes penalties for delays and provisions for contract termination in case of non-compliance.
The submission deadline is set for 9th March 2026 at 10:30 AM via the EPADS portal, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Physical bid security pay orders must be submitted to SIEHS office at 43-15/K, Block 6, PECHS, Karachi. Bidders should ensure all documents, including tender fee receipts and bid security, are complete and submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
