Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Lahore to undertake major renovation works for establishing a commercial business hub at the mezzanine floor of the NBP Model Town Branch, Lahore East. The National Bank of Pakistan requires comprehensive civil, electrical, air-conditioning, and furniture works to transform the space into a functional commercial hub. The scope includes dismantling existing structures, masonry, flooring, electrical wiring, installation of LED lighting, power outlets, burglar alarm systems, earthing, and HVAC systems. Furniture supply and installation for managerial and staff offices, reception, and waiting areas are also part of the contract.
The project demands adherence to Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and EE-04. Bidders must have completed at least three similar projects for banks or financial institutions costing no less than PKR 4 million in the last three years. The site is located in Lahore, Punjab, and the contractor must manage the engineering challenges of working within an operational bank branch, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Bidders should be active on the FBR Active Taxpayer List and provincial revenue boards. The contract requires a performance security of 5% of the contract price and a bid security of PKR 170,000. The procurement follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure through the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS). The contract duration is 90 days from commencement. The contractor must comply with all FBR/ATL and PEC requirements for the financial year 2025-26.
The submission deadline is 11:00 AM on 31st March 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the NBP Regional Headquarters Building, 26-Mclagon Road, Lahore. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS, with original bid security submitted physically before the deadline. The office of the VP/Wing Head, Engineering Wing Central, will oversee the process.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required documents such as PEC registration, FBR active taxpayer status, and proof of similar completed projects. Pay special attention to the bid security submission process, as failure to submit the original bid security before the deadline will lead to rejection. Also, verify the detailed specifications and approved brands list to avoid disqualification during technical evaluation.
