Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of specialized medical equipment and consumables at the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology, a flagship project under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department. Located in Peshawar, the institute focuses on enhancing cardiac care through advanced research and treatment facilities. The procurement includes automated PCR systems, medical gases plant spare parts, chemical and safety items, CCTV solutions for elevators, hospital cafeteria raw meat and poultry supplies, bio-barrier reusable containers, radiation protection aprons and shields, physiotherapy traction units, sternum saws, and IT equipment.
The scope covers a diverse range of medical and laboratory supplies essential for the institute's operational efficiency and patient safety. The items must meet stringent quality standards suitable for a high-profile cardiac care center. Bidders should be prepared to address the technical specifications and ensure timely delivery to the Hayatabad facility in Peshawar. The procurement process leverages the EPADS platform, ensuring transparency and ease of submission for registered vendors.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax and Sales Tax and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Compliance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KP-PPRA) rules is mandatory. The tender advises bidders to verify their PEC category and ensure all tax obligations, including stamp duty and professional tax, are met for the fiscal year 2025-26. Note that PIC-MTI is exempt from General Sales Tax, which can affect bid pricing.
The submission deadline is set for 11:00 AM on 20th January 2026, with electronic bids opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bidders must upload scanned bids on EPADS and submit the original Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) for bid security to the Manager Material Management office at PIC-MTI, 1st Floor, OPD Building, Hayatabad, Peshawar. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected.
Pro-Tip: Ensure the original bid security reaches the designated office before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, attend the pre-bid meeting on 8th January 2026 at 10:00 AM to clarify any technical or procedural queries, which can significantly improve bid quality and compliance.
