Tender Description
Minor renovation works are required at the National Bank of Pakistan Islamic Banking Branch located on Aziz Shaheed Road, Sialkot, Punjab. This project involves comprehensive refurbishment including civil, plumbing, and electrical works to upgrade the branch facilities. The scope covers dismantling existing finishes, plastering, PCC flooring, porcelain and granite tiling, wooden and glass partitions, false ceilings, painting, and installation of modern fixtures and fittings. Plumbing works include supply and installation of sanitary fixtures, water supply piping, drainage, and hot water systems. Electrical works encompass wiring, lighting, power sockets, data and voice wiring, and installation of approved fixtures and accessories.
The project site in Sialkot presents typical urban challenges requiring careful coordination of demolition and installation activities to minimize disruption. The contractor must mobilize skilled labor, equipment, and materials promptly and maintain quality standards throughout the 90-day contract period. The contract mandates compliance with Pakistan Engineering Council registration category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and EE-04. Bidders must be active on the FBR Active Taxpayer List and provincial revenue boards, with proven experience in similar projects for banks or financial institutions.
PEC category compliance, FBR/ATL active status, and submission of an affidavit against blacklisting are mandatory. The contract will be awarded following a single stage one envelope procedure through the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS). Bidders should prepare bids inclusive of all applicable taxes and duties. The bid security amount is PKR 80,000, payable via pay order, banker's cheque, or bank guarantee. The contract price is subject to price adjustment as per the formula provided, with a 5% performance security required upon award.
Submission deadline is 11:00 AM on 31st March 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the NBP Regional Headquarters Building, Lahore. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS, with original bid security delivered physically before the deadline. The office of the VP/Wing Head, Engineering Wing Central, NBP Lahore, will oversee bid opening. Pro-Tip: Ensure strict adherence to bid security submission rules and PEC registration requirements to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully review the detailed Bill of Quantities and technical specifications to prepare a competitive and compliant bid.
