The scope includes dismantling, masonry, plaster, flooring, false ceiling, electrical fittings, and other civil and finishing works as per detailed specifications. The renovation involves comprehensive refurbishment including RCC works, brick masonry, plastering, flooring with porcelain tiles, granite skirting, glass partitions, wooden doors, false ceilings, electrical LED lighting, and other finishing works. The project demands adherence to quality standards with approved materials and workmanship. The contractor must mobilize resources efficiently and comply with technical specifications and drawings provided by the bank's engineering wing.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04. They must have completed at least three similar projects with a minimum value of Rs. 1 million in the last three years. Active status on the FBR Active Taxpayer List and Provincial Revenue Board is mandatory. The contractor must not be blacklisted or debarred for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
The submission deadline is 11:00 AM on 31st March 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the office of the Wing Head, Engineering Wing (Central), NBP Regional Headquarters Building, 26-Mclagon Road, Lahore. Bids must be submitted electronically through the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS). Original bid security must be submitted physically before the closing time. The contract requires a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract price. Delay damages are set at 0.1% per day up to a maximum of 10% of the contract price.
Pro-Tip: Ensure strict compliance with the bid security submission requirements and PEC registration criteria. Missing original bid security or non-compliance with PEC category and tax status are common grounds for bid rejection. Also, carefully review the detailed Bill of Quantities and technical specifications to avoid underestimating the scope and cost. Attend the bid opening or send a knowledgeable representative to verify bid details and avoid surprises during evaluation.
