Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Lahore Cantt under the Military Engineer Services for various repair, renovation, maintenance, and deposit works across multiple quarters and buildings. The scope includes minor and abnormal repairs, water supply and gas maintenance, decoration contracts, and building repairs at different cantonment locations.
The works involve civil and maintenance tasks such as plastering, painting, water and gas supply repairs, and structural maintenance at offices, soldiers' quarters, and requisitioned houses. These tasks require skilled manpower and equipment to ensure timely and quality completion within Lahore Cantt, a key military area with specific security and operational challenges.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and belong to approved MES categories A to E. They should have a proven track record with similar works costing over PKR 5 million in the last three years. Compliance with FBR/ATL status and PEC registration is mandatory for eligibility in the 2025-26 financial year.
The submission deadline is set for 16 January 2026 by 11:30 AM, with tender opening at 12:00 PM on the same day at the GE (Army)-II Lahore Cantt office. Contractors are advised to submit sealed tenders along with all required documents and credentials within 8 days of advertisement.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and technical bid documents are complete and attested, as incomplete submissions are often rejected. Also, verify no litigation or adverse reports exist against your firm to avoid disqualification.
