Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of P.G Connectors T-110, T-150, and T-220 to be delivered on a Free Consignee Stores (FCS) basis at HESCO Regional Store Hyderabad, MCPL Workshop Jamshoro, and Nawabshah. The procurement is managed by Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) in Sindh, Pakistan, under the category of Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment. The quantities required are 5,000 units of T-110, 4,600 units of T-150, and 1,200 units of T-220 connectors, all conforming to Specification No. P-25:67 (amended to date). Delivery is expected within 90 days from the purchase order date, with unloading responsibilities resting on the supplier.
The scope includes manufacturing and supplying high-quality electrical connectors suitable for power distribution networks. The connectors must meet stringent technical specifications and pass prototype approval testing by the Chief Engineer (S&S) NGC or approved international labs. The supplier must provide detailed technical documentation, manufacturing capacity evidence, and comply with FBR registration and Active Taxpayer List requirements. Inspection and testing will be conducted at the manufacturer's premises and by HESCO representatives to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Bidders should be registered manufacturers or authorized agents prequalified with HESCO or DISCOs and must not be blacklisted. The tender follows the Public Procurement Rule 36(a) Single Stage One Envelope procedure. Bid security of PKR 75,000 is mandatory, and bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS and a hard copy to the Manager Material Management HESCO office. The contract requires a 5% performance security and a 12-month warranty period covering defects and replacements.
Submission deadline is set for 12th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bids will be evaluated on a least cost basis considering quality, reliability, and compliance with specifications. Payments will be processed within 30 days after delivery and acceptance, subject to submission of all required documents including inspection certificates and tax compliance.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required technical details and prototype approvals to avoid disqualification. Pay close attention to the bid security format and validity, as non-compliance leads to rejection. Also, verify your Active Taxpayer status with FBR before submission to prevent payment delays.
