Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of one garbage truck by the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) located in Rawalpindi. The department requires a reliable vehicle to support its waste management operations, ensuring efficient disposal and maintenance of cleanliness within naval residential and operational areas. The garbage truck must meet specified technical standards and be accompanied by all necessary documentation including manufacturer authorization and price lists.
The procurement process demands strict adherence to technical and commercial bid submission guidelines. Bidders must submit sealed envelopes containing technical offers, earnest money, and commercial offers separately. The technical offer should include compliance forms, registration letters, and tax proofs. The tender opening will be conducted at the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, Rawalpindi.
Bidders are advised to ensure their firm is registered with DGDP and compliant with PPRA rules. Validity of offers must be at least 120 days from the date of technical bid opening. Firms must also provide a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as earnest money in favor of CMA (DP), Rawalpindi. The tender requires firms to be FBR/ATL compliant and meet all 2025-26 fiscal year requirements to qualify.
The submission deadline is on the 10th of February 2026 by 23:59:59 hours. Tender documents must be delivered physically to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office through sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender number and opening date. Technical bids will be opened first, followed by commercial bids for technically accepted offers.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to carefully check the tender advertisement for the exact stamp duty and earnest money submission requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all forms DP-1, DP-2, and DP-3 are duly filled and signed to avoid technical rejection.
