Tender Description
This announcement from the Social Welfare and Human Rights Department, Government of Balochistan, invites applications for fully funded scholarships in Prosthetics and Orthotics for students across Balochistan. The program offers six scholarships for a four-year graduate degree and four scholarships for a two-year technician certification course, aimed at developing skilled professionals in this vital healthcare sector in Quetta and other divisions.
The scholarships cover tuition, admission, and hostel fees, with payments made directly to the respective institutions. Candidates must be domiciled in Balochistan and meet academic criteria including 60% marks in F.Sc. for the graduate program and Matriculation for the technician course. Selection is merit-based, with a quota system ensuring representation from all eight divisions. Successful applicants commit to serving the government for five years post-completion.
Applicants should ensure they meet all eligibility requirements, including local domicile and financial need, and submit complete documentation such as CNIC, domicile certificate, academic transcripts, and an affidavit confirming no other scholarships. The department advises verifying all documents carefully and maintaining compliance with the application deadline to avoid disqualification.
Applications must reach the Director General, Social Welfare & Human Rights Department by the deadline of 17th March 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be entertained. The office is located in Quetta, where the technical and financial bids will be reviewed.
Pro-Tip: Double-check the affidavit and academic transcripts for accuracy and completeness before submission, as these are common reasons for rejection. Also, keep a copy of the submission receipt for future reference.
