Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the rehabilitation and provision of additional classrooms in existing primary schools of UC Kaplore, Taluka and District Umerkot under the District ADP Program 2025-26. The Education Works Division Umerkot is overseeing this project, which involves civil works including dismantling, brickwork, concrete, roofing, and finishing, as well as water supply and sanitary fittings. The scope covers two units and requires adherence to quality standards and timely completion.
The works include structural repairs, construction of classrooms with reinforced concrete and brick masonry, installation of roofing tiles, and finishing with marble flooring and painting. Water supply and sanitary fittings are also part of the contract, including installation of W.C. pans, lavatory basins, valves, and water pumps. The site is located in Umerkot, Sindh, and bidders must consider local soil and climatic conditions in their technical approach.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and comply with all statutory requirements including FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. The tender requires a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and a performance security of 8%. The contract duration is 16 months from the date of commencement.
