Tender Description
This tender invites experienced contractors in Multan to undertake the renovation of the IDG setup at the 4th floor of the National Bank of Pakistan's Region Office Building. The project involves comprehensive civil, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and furniture works, including dismantling, masonry, plastering, flooring with porcelain tiles, glass doors, partitions, wooden cabinetry, false ceilings, and complete electrical wiring and fixtures. The scope also covers installation of plumbing fixtures, sanitary fittings, drainage systems, and fire alarm and clock systems, all conforming to relevant British and Pakistani standards. The site is located in Multan, Punjab, and the project demands adherence to high-quality workmanship and materials as specified in the detailed technical specifications and bill of quantities.
The contractor must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04, and be active on the FBR Active Taxpayer List. The tender follows the Public Procurement Rules 2004, with bids submitted through the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS). A bid security of PKR 460,000 in the form of a pay order or banker's cheque is mandatory. The contract duration is 120 days, and the contractor must comply with all regulatory and technical requirements, including PEC registration and FBR/ATL status for the financial year 2025-26.
Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on March 4, 2026, with opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the National Bank of Pakistan Head Office in Karachi. The submission method is exclusively through the EPADS online portal, with original bid security submitted physically before the closing time. The contract includes provisions for price adjustment, performance security, and compliance with anti-corruption measures. Contractors are advised to carefully review the detailed specifications, drawings, and conditions of contract to ensure full compliance.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid security instrument is submitted on time and in the correct form, as failure to do so will result in bid rejection. Also, verify your PEC category and FBR status well in advance to avoid disqualification. Check the detailed bill of quantities and technical specifications for any special requirements or materials to avoid costly mistakes during execution.
