Tender Description
This tender invites contractors to undertake the repair and renovation of the Motor Transport Workshop located in Hyderabad under the Police Department of Sindh. The project involves civil works aimed at restoring and upgrading the workshop facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The scope includes structural repairs, refurbishment of workshop areas, and necessary maintenance to support the department's transport fleet.
The work site is situated in Hyderabad, Sindh, requiring contractors to manage logistics and material procurement efficiently. Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license appropriate for the contract value and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) with active status. The average annual turnover for the last three years should be at least PKR 3 million, and experience in similar works is mandatory. Earnest money of 2% of the bid amount is required along with a tender fee of PKR 3,000. Performance security of 8% will be submitted upon contract award.
The submission deadline is set for 09 February 2026 at 1400 hours, with bid opening at 1430 hours on the same day at the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Technical & Transport Sindh, Karachi. Bids must be submitted via the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. Physical submission is also accepted at the specified address.
