Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites bids for the supply of 30,000 single phase 2-wire, 240V, 10/40 AMP 50Hz AMI Smart Energy Meters with PTA verified modules and remote disconnect/reconnect relay capability. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and delivery is required within 90 days of purchase order issuance at Regional Stores in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Nawabshah. The meters must comply with NTDC specifications DDS-65:2003, DDS-98:2011, DDS-110:2012, and IEC 62055-31, including all amendments. The meters should be UDIL compliant and compatible with existing MDC servers at WAPDA House Lahore. Prototype approval from Chief Engineer (Design & Standards) NTDC is mandatory before mass production. The supplier is responsible for software integration, security, and training of HESCO officials. The meters must support 3G/4G PTA verified modems, have lithium battery and supercapacitor for RTC, and provide data retrieval in case of display damage. Bidders must be registered manufacturers or suppliers prequalified with HESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA, registered with FBR, and on the Active Taxpayers List. Bid security of PKR 9,000,000 is required. The contract includes a 24-month warranty period with repair or replacement obligations. Inspection will be conducted by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and HESCO representatives. Delivery is on FCS basis with unloading responsibility on the supplier. Submission deadline is 10th February 2026 at 10:00 AM with bid opening at 11:30 AM at HESCO Hyderabad.
